Requests for support have been coming in on a regular basis to both Platt Bridge and Westfield and both schools are now supporting in Wigan and beyond with links to Bradford, Leeds, St Helen's and Cheshire happening on a regular basis. Staff from Platt Bridge are also training teachers in English schools overseas!

Our package of school to school support is tailored to meet your needs. Support can include visits to either school to observe practice /discuss particular issues with staff or outreach work. Requests for one particular aspect/area would be met through the Specialist Leader strand but for more complex requests, outreach work is led by one of the Headteachers (who are National Leaders of Education). A bespoke action plan is developed to meet the needs of the individual school and can include visits/support from a range of staff.

Where the expertise to support your school is not available from one of the lead schools, we will broker support from reputable providers; some of whom may be Strategic Partners and other organisations known to us.

Feedback has been extremely positive.

One Headteacher said:
"Our staff were buzzing with enthusiasm after their visit to Platt Bridge Community Primary School!  The combination of the Assistant Headteacher’s overview of the Differentiated Input Model, the opportunity to speak to teachers with excellent subject knowledge, observing highly motivated learners, all within exceptional learning environments, all combined to provide excellent CPD for our staff."

 And a Deputy Headteacher said:
"I cannot thank you and your staff enough for the support that you have provided us with We hope to transform our practice over the coming years but it all started with a visit to your school and the guidance that you have offered us."
